Remembrance Day marks the conclusion of fighting during the First World War and is honoured as a day to reflect and be grateful for the Canadians who have given their lives fighting for their country. Beyond wearing a red poppy and observing two minutes of silence on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., there are many ways people can pay their respects.
